Our Process

The Chalk design process integrates our creative strengths with your in-depth understanding of your business and customer to produce experiences that elevate your brand.

Phase 1 | Strategy & Research

Our design process begins with us understanding your goals, audience, project parameters and desired outcomes. We explore international and local sources to equip the project with a toolkit of ideas to use in our ideation phase.

Phase  2 | Creative Ideation

We use creative ideation exercises, and our custom creative research toolkit built in Phase 1 to develop concepts that express your brand at its best, within the context of the project parameters. We develop the stand-out ideas into approx. two initial concepts. We then refine and present these to you, and gather your feedback.

Phase  3 | Concept Development

We then develop one concept more fully, liaise with third parties for procurement quotes. We develop and deliver a second presentation for sign-off.

Phase 4 | Production and Installation

Once we have signed off with you, we begin procurement. We devise and provide detailed briefs for each third party and manage their workloads in terms of technical design, construction and installation. We plan and manage logistics and ensure every final detail is perfected, finished and in situ.
